It is an exciting time to join Monks Abbey primary school! This year we have new leadership, and we are looking for a motivated deputy headteacher to work in partnership with our new headteacher to drive the school forward.

We are looking for an inspirational Deputy Headteacher who has:
Proven ability to demonstrate outstanding teaching and who has an excellent record of classroom practice
- Recent experience in a leadership team, with a proven track record of successfully improving outcomes for all children, especially those in more challenging circumstances.
- The drive to lead within a distributed leadership ethos, with leadership skills that motivate and inspire staff and children to achieve the highest standards.
- Commitment to further raising the standards of teaching and learning that our school has achieved
- Experience in leading Safeguarding and/or Pupil Premium would be beneficial
